Best Citroen Peugeot PSA pin code reader, which one& where to buy?

TDB007, obdstar F108+, obdstar H108, VVDI2 PSA software, OBDSTAR X300 PRO3, X300 DP etc are highly recommended for Citroen / Peugeot PSA pin code reader because they are safe to use and cheap.

Let's go one by one.

  1. TDB007review:

If you need it just for pin reading Google TDB007..

For the price it's about 450.

I use TDB007 for pin reading, good tool, long time if all key lost but its work.

  1. obdstar F108+review

The obdstar tool F108+ works well.

207 2009. Need igntion On - OFF 10 times in 7mn. Pin read succesful.

Peugeot 208 2013, very fast. Only ignition OFF - ON 1 time and it give pincode.

C3 2014 Valeo BSI, one time OFF ON and give pincode.

-> I have extracted pin from over 20 cars, all fine. Not necessary to connect charger to car as it doesn't put Bsi in service mode like psa bsi tool, or avdi where windscreen wipers would activate etc. On average 5 to 8 minutes, although a 508 and a 2008 I did it found code almost instantaneously.

I plug on OBD2 and F108+ sniffing "kwp fast"traffic , i turn ignition "on/of" 10 times / 4 minutes

2004 C4 / this car is not CAN ! CAN protocol is after 2008 on PSA car , some user say NO HE CAN'T , but yes we can !

I'm sure full chip PCB F108+ with last update can retrieve all PIN code , it's the same BSI for PSA ( Siemens , Valeo & J-C ) .

And if it's not FULL CHIP tool F108+ , CONNECTION BREAK DOWN , k-line is not operational .

Citroen C3 2014, CE0523 FSK, get pin also one time OFF/ON.

So it is very fast for PSA newer car 2017.

Note: I get pin with F108. Program with SKP900.

  2. Is it true: The device just can support the car after 2008 year and the car which is CAN Protocol.?

Answer: No, FAKE NEWS , my report prouve that F108+ support "no-CAN" car before 2008 .... I'm suppose they advertise old F108 support the car after 2008 year and the car which is CAN Protocol

Many bad feedback on forum , i'm not OBDSTAR seller , but 1 test 1 PIN !

Sure for the other buyers of F108 without chip , it's sad , PCB is incomplet K-LINE is unplug ! no miracle ...

So i have just used this little device for reading pin codes and so far 100% success. Personally I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying one as its cost is low and 1-2 keys pays for it already.

obdstar H108 is better F108+ in the following aspects:

  1. VVDI 2 reads pin code for Citroen / Peugeotprocedure

VVDI2 PSA software is really a good tool for reading Citroen Peugeot pin code.

Step 1: Open VVDI2 Quick Start, click on the "Peugeot" icon, connect VVDI2 programmer to the PC and Peugeot / Citroen.

Step 2: Click on "Read Pin code", and receive message "Turn on ignition".

Each time switch ON ignition, switch OFF/ON times will increase 1

if the times not increase, please switch OFF ignition again, take key off ignition switch, wait above 10 seconds, then switch ON.

Repeat this procedure until the switch OFF/ON times increase 1.

Step 3: VVDI2 Read out pin code successfully

Smok: smok good for new psa cars and olds to, it have option to find pin for old kline siemens bsi to.

Abrites: abrites has proved to be excellent on can vehicles and reliable now on a lot of old kline too , really can't fault abrites psa from read pin to code key.


VVDI2 program 2013 Passat slot key AKL

Confirmed! Xhorse vvdi2 can work for 2013 Passat slot key AKL.

By dump! Not through the obd!

Do you need a special cable for the dump?

Vvdi prog or other eeprom programmer

When you select the car on vvdi2 what the tool ask for ?

I havnt been out to the car yet, just asking for advice...I have AR32 and Tango also.

The tango and AR32 will work. It is best done out of circuit.

You can add the key by tango too i think. The eeprom would be 8 legs eeprom not difficult to read .

Can you share details with us if you have a good success?

I tried to do one with vvdi 2 last year and i could not figure it out. I do us the prog to read and write these.

VW Passat B6/B7/CC Key Learn

You can read PIN and 6 bytes CS from ECU via OBD, no comfort module dump

46 Transponder:

Lost all key is same as add key with working key. Place 7th byte CS to “FF”

48 Transponder:

Add key: you need find 7th byte CS from working key, you can follow steps: 1->2->3->4

Lost all key: this type need use try start method to find working key. Try times belong to 0-255. First try need start from 0, if failed in the procedure, record the failed times. Next time, try start with last failed times.

Cannot read 6 bytes CS from ECU. Here you need comfort module dump (95320) support. After load comfort module dump you will get window

It has 3 methods to decrypt comfort module dump:

u Decrypt 7 bytes CS from dump file (usually we select this method)

u Get CS from ECU EEPROM dump

u Have 6 bytes CS

Decrypt success :

You will get the 7 bytes CS and PIN after decrypt success. So make dealer key is very easy. No matter 48 or 46, no matter lost all key or add key, they are all same.

Decrypt failure:This type rarely happen

Add Key

Lost All key: this type need use try start method to find working key. Try times belong to 0-255. First try need start from 0, if failed in the procedure, record the failed times. Next time, try start with last failed times. Number 6 (Unlock 46 key) only unlock the temp key under try start method under decrypt failure method

Ø Passat/CC 46 Transponder learned key failure, verify “Dealer Key”. If you get “NO” mean ignition key is not dealer key. You need prepare dealer key first. Don’t worry about “Locked Key” value, dealer key can be learned without test this item. Please check other failure reason

Ø Passat/CC lost all key, dont know transponder type, Prepare a 48 transponder and a 46 transponder, insert to ignition switch one by one, verify “Transponder type OK”. If you get “YES” mean the immobilizer system use this type transponder

Ø You can load EEPROM dump (95320) for 2nd hand comfort module, or type in known PIN/CS manually

Ø Press button “Read” . It requires input power class for 2nd hand module。

Attention: the working key in 2nd hand comfort module will stop work after success reading, it can start work after write with correct 7 bytes CS. This usually happen for adapt original comfort module in car, because the comfort module have working key

Ø Input new Immo No, VIN, power, total 7 bytes CS, PIN, press button “Write”

Ø Note: Comfort module power class can change via adapt unit
